Our story begins with the unification of Italy, in 1861. For over 150 years, generation after generation, we have been committed every day to the production of an extra virgin olive oil of the highest quality, combining taste and respect for the land. Today it is we children Alessandra, Carlo and Giustiniano, who take up the baton of those who preceded us, continuing their work with the same commitment and the same immutable passion, in the wake of a company tradition oriented towards constant renewal without losing the original vocation artisanal.

For our customers, with whom we have built a good relationship of trust, we are "The Brothers of Oil", they like to call us that. They saw us grow on "bread and oil" inside our oil mill and as we grew up we learned the trade that we carry out today with commitment. Our interest is to offer the market an Extra Virgin Olive Oil linked to the experience and passion for tradition. Verna Extra Virgin Olive Oil is a typical niche product, an oil of excellent quality.

Currently our focus is related to health prevention, improvement and innovation. For some years we have renewed our manufacturing process with cutting-edge machinery technology, reducing the storage times of the olives and oil production, thus guaranteeing a healthy Extra Virgin Olive Oil, which retains its organoleptic properties and offers benefits for our body, and an Extra Virgin Olive Oil with a unique and good flavor. Our olives are harvested by hand in the months of October and November with the compressed harvesting system, then defoliated and carefully selected. For us it is important to focus on the continuous search for quality raw materials to obtain a good extra virgin olive oil. After the selection, the olives are washed and sent to the crusher for milling. The paste is obtained thanks to a machine consisting of mobile hammers and knives, ready for the subsequent malaxing phase, where it is gently mixed in a steel tank, monitoring and maintaining the temperature below 27 ° C (cold pressing ).

The low processing temperatures allow to preserve the taste, smell and typical flavor of the freshly harvested fruit. The extraction takes place by centrifugation, obtaining the separation between the solid part (pomace) and the liquid part (must). Finally, the latter is centrifuged again to eliminate the aqueous part, thus obtaining a very pure extra virgin olive oil. The continuous monitoring of all stages of production and conservation guarantees the final quality of our yellow gold. After the analysis in the laboratory, we move on to bottling and marketing.
