Wildflower honey from Abruzzo
Wildflower honey is one of the most popular varieties. It differs from monofloral honeys in that it is produced by the natural mixing inside the hive of the nectar collected by bees. There is no preeminent species but flavors and characteristics of various types of flowers and therefore of honeys can be found.
The characteristics are influenced by the place where the hives are placed: the wildflower represents the pure and authentic expression of the harvest area and restores its flavors, colors and smells. In fact, the color can vary from light amber to darker, depending on the floral species present, as well as the texture. The smell and aroma are enveloping, which recall the fruity and floral. The taste it reserves is surprising, because it is always different and influenced by bees and the harvest season.
