Chiara Ciavolich Farm

The Ciavolichs were wool merchants who arrived in Miglianico in 1500 and built the family's first winery in 1853, one of the oldest winemaking structures in Abruzzo. In the 1960s, from the hereditary division of Donna Ernestina, the family received the agricultural estate of Loreto Aprutino (Pe) consisting of about 50 ha. Here, Giuseppe Ciavolich planted the vineyards of Montepulciano, Trebbiano and Cococciola.

Today Chiara continues to cultivate to pass on an ancient history through wine, the red thread of conjunction between past, present and future. Local wines with contemporary vinification and respectful of the variety of origin. Straightforward and clean and deep in soul.
