Jasci & Marchesani Agrobiological Company - Jasci & Marchesani wines are produced from carefully selected vines

Jasci & Marchesani wines, produced from carefully selected vines that have found their full adaptation to specific areas and positions of our estates, mature and age in the generous oxen of our cellars, a place with a special atmosphere.

Jasci & Marchesani dedicated themselves to organic wine production as early as 1960, even ahead of the very idea of sustainable treatment, and reaching official certification in 1978, among the first Italian companies. Currently the vineyard area of the company extends over 33 hectares of property and another 7 in sharecropping, set up with row plants, of which the oldest is from 1973, which allow us to grow all the grapes vinified on our own, then in the cellar that operates with renewable energies.

The long experience, the love for the land and for our work have been married with courageous choices that have led to an ever lower yield per hectare, up to ⅓ of traditional production. On early grapes the treatments are reduced with only 4 months of defense and the vineyard is strengthened by restoring a healthy balance between acidity and sugars. The result is there for all to see, in the uniqueness of non-standard wines such as Montepulciano Janù, which is the standard-bearer of quality at 360 °, on the olfactory, gustatory and healthy levels, and expression, together with the Nerubè line, of a absolutely modern interpretation of organic wine, which is also expressed in whites such as Pecorino, Riesling, Traminer and the traditional Trebbiano d'Abruzzo. Each vineyard gives life to a different product, those grown in the Sinello valley offer saline and savory whites, while the clayey soil of the hills of the Medio Vasto, for exposure and temperature range, a unique and sought-after Montepulciano like Janù. Sebastiano Jasci was called "lu lattàre", because as a good breeder of cows he delivered the milk daily to the tables of the people of Vasto.

But the whole family was doing agricultural practice, dedicating themselves to table grapes and fruit trees, until, mindful of the ancestral tradition, they had the definitive enlightenment: their future would be wine. Today mom Marchesani and dad Jasci still have good eyes to supervise the progress of the winery, while Nicola holds the reins, leaving the technical-oenological aspect to his wife Federica and his sister-in-law Teresa the careful administration of the same. mindful of the ancestral tradition, he had the definitive illumination: his future would be wine.
