Geographical location of the vineyard: municipality of Rocca San Giovanni, the most suitable hills overlooking the Costa dei Trabocchi, facing South, South-East.
Harvest: manual, second decade of October
Vinification: soft pressing of the grapes, maceration and fermentation with the skins for 10-15 days in steel fermenters, at a controlled temperature.
Maturation and refinement: maturation in French oak tonneau for about 14 months; followed by a further refinement in steel and in bottle for a few months.
Organoleptic characteristics: very intense red color, garnet reflections appear with aging; it shows considerable complexity on the nose, with aromas of black cherry, violet, spicy notes and vanilla; on the palate it is intense and persistent with an elegant tannic component and a long finish.
