The Pecorino "Giulia" by Cataldi Madonna is a real point of reference for the entire typology: citrusy, fresh, mineral, savory and with a long persistence, the Pecorino "Giulia" has been able to change over the years, passing from an aging to wood to steel one.

The Pecorino "Giulia" by Cataldi Madonna is born at 380 meters above sea level, between Cona, Frontona and Macerone; in the middle of what is defined as the "Abruzzo oven": a small plateau in the shape of an amphitheater that cradles Ofena in its center. A particular “oven” since it lies under the Calderone, the only glacier in the Apennines as well as the southernmost in our entire hemisphere: warm winds and fresh air; the perfect combination for the ripening of the grapes.

Cataldi Madonna's "Giulia" Pecorino is the fruit of Cataldi Madonna's over ten years of experience in the vinification of Pecorino; the “Giulia” is a version of Pecorino that is simple only in price: it is exuberant on the nose and offers us a cross-section of really pleasant aromas, where passion fruit and grapefruit dominate. The freshness is clear and cutting and the body is decidedly interesting, even if it is a young wine.
