Rosato Terre Aquilane IGT - Cataldino
The Abruzzo Rosato "Cataldino" wine comes from vineyards of Montepulciano, located about 380 meters above sea level, in the locality of Macerone.
It is a bottle with a light and delicate profile, in which drinkability is the key to a relaxed and easy tasting experience, which is favored by a vinification and aging carried out exclusively in steel. A label that always has its why on the table, where it proves extremely versatile. Try it, also considering the interesting final price with which it is proposed, and you will realize how the Cataldi Madonna winery is always synonymous with guarantee and quality in the glass.
This Rosato "Cataldino" is made by Cataldi Madonna starting from the grapes of a vine, the Montepulciano, which, in Abruzzo, represents one of the most cultivated and appreciated varieties by winemakers. The winery team, once the grapes are harvested and de-stemmed, proceeds to a white vinification, in which the must ferments spontaneously, thanks to the presence of indigenous yeasts, in stainless steel containers at a temperature between 18 and 20 degrees. Still in steel, the wine then remains to stabilize for a few months, until it is ready to be bottled and marketed.
Cataldi Madonna's “Cataldino” Rosato is announced in the glass with a pale pink color, with some faint reflections tending more to copper in the nail. The aromas that envelop the nose tell of an olfactory texture made up of notes of small red berry fruit, embellished with sensations that recall the floral world. In the mouth it is light-bodied, very smooth and drinkable, with a fresh profile, ideal for accompanying different recipes and preparations on the table, from aperitifs to any meal, especially in combination with fish and seafood.
