Cerasuolo d'Abruzzo Valle Reale
Cerasuolo d'Abruzzo di Valle Reale is the classic rosé made with 100% Montepulciano d'Abruzzo. It is a rosé that is part of the ancient traditions of the area and has retained great fidelity to its original model over time. From a generous grape rich in anthocyanins such as Montepulciano, a rosé with a rather deep color and intense and wide fruity aromas, embellished with floral and aromatic herbs notes, can only be born.
It is a rosé with a gastronomic vocation, very suitable to accompany stews or fish soups with tomato and second courses based on delicate white meats.
The Cerasuolo d'Abruzzo rosé wine from Valle Reale was born in the mountains of the Abruzzo Apennines. The estate extends over 46 hectares, which are located in the countryside of Popoli and Capestrano, in an area with still intact nature, thanks to the presence of three nature reserves: the Gran Sasso National Park, the Majella National Park and the Sirente-Velino Regional Park. In an uncontaminated environment, the choice to marry the principles of organic and biodynamic agriculture, without the use of chemicals, was quite natural. The proximity of high peaks and imposing massifs makes the climate very cool and breezy. In these conditions Montepulciano d'Abruzzo matures slowly with a particularly thin and elegant profile, very suitable for producing rosé wines, which always require good freshness and fine and fragrant aromas.
The Cerasuolo d'Abruzzo rosé produced by the Abruzzo winery Valle Reale, is made with 100% Montepulciano d'Abruzzo, cultivated at an altitude of about 350 meters above sea level with south-east exposure. After a brief contact of the must with the skins in the press, fermentation takes place in steel using only indigenous yeasts. The wine ages for 6 months in steel tanks before being bottled.
It shows a bright and brilliant coral pink color. The bouquet releases intense and rich aromas of cherries, small berries, hints of aromatic herbs and floral memories. On the palate it has a good structure, with a juicy and fragrant fruit, which anticipates a finish of good aromatic persistence, slightly savory. It is the traditional rosé wine, a true visiting card of the territory.
