Cerasuolo d'Abruzzo Doc
Wine for young consumers, quite experienced and looking for products with a great price / quality ratio. Excellent in combination with all fish dishes, with not too rich first courses and white meats. Also very pleasant between meals.
Production area: municipality of Ortona.
Vinification: harvest period in early October. Soft pressing and destemming, short maceration on the skins (about 6 hours of contact), fermentation without skins for 15 days at a temperature of 12 ° C, in order to obtain an excellent color and flavor.
Wine Idea: wine for young, fairly experienced consumers looking for products with a great price / quality ratio. Excellent in combination with all fish dishes, with not too rich first courses and white meats. Also very pleasant between meals.
Sensory characteristics: lively cherry pink in color, the scent is intense, persistent and fruity, with hints of small red fruit (strawberry). Medium-structured wine, intense, balanced and with good persistence. It is recommended to always drink it young.
Serving temperature: 14-16 ° C.
