Trebbiano d'Abruzzo Valle Reale
Trebbiano d'Abruzzo di Valle Reale is a fresh and intense wine, produced with the most common white grape variety in the region. The Abruzzese clone belongs to the vast and heterogeneous Trebbiani family, which, under a common name, brings together very different varieties. It is a grape with a good aromatic outfit, which gives rich, persistent and very long-lived wines. The vinification only in steel allows you to fully appreciate its varietal qualities, its floral aromas, its fruity aromas, the spicy and mineral nuances that make the sip complex, but always flowing thanks to the vertical freshness.
Trebbiano d'Abruzzo wine is born in a wonderful area of uncontaminated nature. The Valle Reale estate is located in the center of three Nature Reserves: the Gran Sasso National Park, the Majella National Park and the Sirente-Velino Regional Park. The 46 hectares of vineyards are cultivated at an altitude between 350 and 400 meters above sea level and are divided into 5 plots between Popoli and Capestrano.
In the countryside, the principles of biodynamic agriculture and the company philosophy are followed and aimed at the production of wines with a genuine and authentic face, a true expression of a unique terroir. The area is characterized by a continental climate, dominated by cold winds that descend from the high Apennine peaks and which create strong temperature variations between day and night. The soils are poor and thin, with an abundant presence of pebbles and skeleton. It is a mountain viticulture, with grapes with very intense and elegant aromatic profiles, which contribute to giving the wines a strong personality.
Trebbiano di Valle Reale is a wine that comes from a partial destemming of the grapes, followed by a soft pressing and fermentation in steel tanks with indigenous yeasts. Before bottling, the wine rests for 6 months in steel tanks.
In the glass it has a straw yellow color with bright greenish reflections. The bouquet is intense and rich, with fruity aromas of citrus and white fruit, floral nuances and tropical hints. The sip is taut and energetic with a rich and expressive center of the mouth. The finish is fresh, savory and mineral. The perfect label to get to know the true face of Trebbiano d'Abruzzo.
