The "Myosotis" is a Cerasuolo d'Abruzzo that originates from one of the most important grapes present in the region, Montepulciano. After a short cryomaceration, a vacuum pressing is carried out; the must obtained from this operation ferments in stainless steel containers, at a temperature that is kept under control. We then proceed to the maturation phase, in which the wine rests first for 6 months in wooden barrels and then, after bottling carried out by the Zaccagnini winery, for a few more months directly in glass before being placed on the market. Zaccagnini's Cerasuolo d'Abruzzo “Myosotis” develops in the glass with a color that recalls the shade of cherry, very bright and shining. The nose is pampered by refreshing sensations, in which it is the small red fruit that opens to deeper tones, which recall iron. The taste is medium-bodied, with a sip characterized by a dry taste, which flickers on the palate thanks to a pleasant fresh component. It closes with a fruity finish with good persistence. A label to try without ifs and buts, considering the awards recognized by the main sector guides together with the excellent price with which it is offered. Occasions like this don't happen every day.
