Cerasuolo d'Abruzzo Doc Superiore - Ferzo
Ferzo is a piece of fabric sewn together with other pieces to form a large sail. The combination of the most suitable wine-growing areas in Abruzzo gives life to "Ferzo", a single large label that contains the best of the region's native vines.
Vinification: The must obtained from soft pressing of the grapes, after a brief contact with the skins at low temperature (creo-maceration) becomes clear. In special steel tanks the clear must ferments at a controlled temperature.
Color: Bright cherry red.
Nose: Intense and pleasantly fruity, notes of “cerasa” and pomegranate.
Taste: Fresh, good acidity, fruity notes of cherry are felt followed by an almond finish.
Pairings: Excellent with fish soups, mullets, tomato-based first courses, white meats, semi-aged cheese goes well with pizza. Excellent with shellfish and scampi.
