Palio - Montepulciano d'Abruzzo DOC

The main wine of our region, with an intense red color, aromas of red berried fruits and spicy notes, a full, harmonious and rightly tannic flavor. It goes very well with important first courses, red meats, game and aged cheeses. Serve at 14/16 ° C

Vinification: The harvested bunches are traditionally vinified with a long maceration of the skins at a controlled temperature. After racking after malolactic fermentation, the wine decants in stainless steel tanks. It ages for a short time in cask.

Color: Intense red with purple reflections.

Nose: Elegant bouquet in which hints of black cherry and wild berries are combined with notes of black pepper, cocoa and balsamic aromas.

Taste: Full-bodied and velvety, with a notable charge and soft tannins, with a persistent and pleasant finish.

Pairings: Important first courses based on mushrooms and truffles. Ideal with grilled lamb, kebabs, game, salami appetizers and aged cheeses.
