Montepulciano d'Abruzzo Doc Reserve - Il Vecchio Priore
Il Vecchio Priore and Il Fattore are an expression of history and tradition, they tell the passion that has binded our family to the Abruzzo hills for years. The rigorous research of the old Montepulciano and Pecorino strains, the new cultivation techniques in respect of the territory and the traditional vinification and aging techniques allow these wines to express all their personality and enhance the authenticity and quality of the " Hills of Pescara ".
We have been producing this wine for almost forty years, trying to keep intact all those original characteristics that have marked the history of our cellar. It is a superior product, obtained only in great vintages, from the vinification of our best grapes, produced from vineyards located in the most suitable areas of the beautiful hills of Collecorvino. Intense red color with burgundy reflections. The nose is very intense, rich in spicy notes linked to the evolution of aromas. In the mouth it reveals a dense and full taste, richly fruity and supported by an important tannic profile, such as to make it a wine for long aging.
