Montepulciano d'Abruzzo Doc - Fonte Venna
In 1601 "Il Feuduccio", formerly the county of teate, was a land held in the state property by Baron Bohemond II of Manoppello.
The Torrente Venna, which gives its name to this red with a varietal character coming from the company's young vineyards, was already the lifeblood for the farmers who cultivated the lands of the Feuduccio.
Altitude of the vineyards: 432 meters above sea level
Exposure: the vineyards enjoy excellent south-east, south, south-west exposure
Soil: clayey calcareous of medium texture, basically compact
Grapes: 100% Montepulciano
Harvest: 15-30 October, with manual harvesting
Fermentation: in 130 hl stainless steel vats with daily punching down at a controlled temperature for 15 days
Aging: in the bottle for at least 3 months
