In our company, the first expression of Montepulciano of the vintage is in our company, and the first indicator of its performance.

The extreme selection made first in the vineyard and then on the table of choice guarantees the wine good structure and maturity, enriched by a fresh and pleasant aromatic set linked to fermentation at a controlled temperature, further demonstrating the great flexibility of the Montepulciano grape.

Vinification: steel, a part of the reds bleeding after cold pre-maceration, a part of very light direct pressing of the non-destemmed grapes, a part coming from cold maceration on the skins

Serving temperature: 10-12 ° C

Organoleptic examination: Consistent in the glass, typical bright cherry red, with slight violet reflections in youth. Fresh and persistent aromas of strawberry, pomegranate, cherry, and light citrus fruit characteristic of the area. Elegant floral scents, rose in evidence. Good volume in the mouth, excellent balance between the softness, also linked to the good alcoholic component, and the lively acid and mineral component, which makes the persistence in the mouth long and the finish stimulating. These peculiar characteristics give Cerasuolo great pleasure and flexibility in combinations, making it suitable for accompanying mixed Italian appetizers, first courses with sauces, legume and cereal soups, white meats and elaborations of fish, pizza. Ideal on the Vasto-style brodetto.
