Between the mountains and the sea, in Controguerra, in the province of Teramo, in a suggestive thirty-year-old row at an altitude of 290 meters above sea level and magnificently exposed to the south-south / east, the Cerasuolo d’Abruzzo delle Cantine Torri is born.

A wine made with 100% Montepulciano d'Abruzzo grapes vinified in rosé, the bunches of which are manually selected during a harvest in early October, from certified organic farming. This is followed by vinification in thermo-conditioned steel vats and after adequate rest on the skins, it is aged in concrete tanks for at least 4 months, and then bottled in the total absence of oxygen.

Color: A very bright cherry pink with an interesting texture.

Nose: Intense floral and fruity scents of geranium, carnation, cherry and raspberry.

Taste: A dry, tasty sip, with a nice freshness and delicate sapidity in perfect balance with a moderate heat and a refined softness. The taste, in perfect harmony with the nose, adds hints of strawberry and blueberry that anticipate a long and delicate mineral finish.

Harvest: Born in one of the most suitable areas of Abruzzo, from an old vineyard raised in Tendone, at an ideal altitude to guarantee a formidable temperature range and with a magnificent exposure. A Cerasuolo obtained from a strictly manual harvest of the third decade of September of certified organic farming, which ensures the utmost respect for the surrounding environment.

Vinification: A white vinification, carried out in thermo-conditioned steel vats, and after the necessary rest on the skins, it follows a maturation of 4 months, in concrete tanks, and then proceeds to bottling in the total absence of oxygen.

Pairings: Rosé wine in general has the extraordinary characteristic of being able to be paired with almost any food, and certainly can be sipped in any circumstance. Served very fresh, with aperitifs, appetizers, seafood, vegetarian dishes, white and red meats, fresh or medium-aged cheeses. Imagine penne with salmon, cheese and pepper, barley with courgettes, chicken with cashews or a nice burrata with Abruzzese “ox heart” tomato and EVO oil.
