Cerasuolo d'Abruzzo 'Vineyard of Sant'Eusanio Night' Valle Reale

The Cerasuolo d'Abruzzo “Vigneto di Sant'Eusanio” of Valle Reale is a rosé produced only and exclusively with a single vineyard of Montepulciano d'Abruzzo, which gives grapes of extraordinary quality and aromatic finesse, particularly suitable for being vinified in rosé.

It is a Cerasuolo made according to the classic style of the territory, but with a very fresh and elegant profile. The aromas of small berries are softened by delicate floral nuances, by fragrant citrus aromas and hints of wild herbs. It is a savory rosé, with a dynamic and smooth sip.

The “Vigneto di Sant'Eusanio” Cerasuolo d'Abruzzo represents the version of Valle Reale characterized by a more subtle, fresh and refined character. The altitude of the vineyard, which is located in a parcel recognized as one of the most suitable of the estate, the cool and breezy climate, the lean and stony soils contribute to the maturation of a particularly elegant Montepulciano.

The 46 hectares of vineyards are located in a green and uncontaminated area close to the mountains of three natural reserves: the Gran Sasso National Park, the Majella National Park and the Sirente-Velino Regional Park. The considerable temperature variations between day and night temperatures give grapes with fine and subtle aromatic combinations, perfect for rosé vinification. Thus was born a Cerasuolo that stands out for a light and delicate face, particularly suitable for gastronomic combinations with crustaceans or seafood appetizers.

The Rosé “Vigneto di Sant'Eusanio” from Valle Reale expresses the best characteristics of this typical Abruzzo wine. A rosé that is born with the grapes of a vineyard cultivated at almost 500 meters above sea level, always counted among the best in the area. The grapes are pressed in a very soft way, with a short contact in the press and the flower must is vinified in white with indigenous yeasts in steel tanks. Before bottling, the wine rests in steel for at least 6 months.

In the glass it has a light pink color. The olfactory profile is fine and rarefied, with floral, rose and geranium aromas, citrus notes and aromas of small red berries. The sip is savory and crunchy, with an expressive fruit and a very fresh finish.
